Position L&D as a Core Strategic Enabler
A key challenge for L&D leaders is to position the learning function as a core strategic enabler, building its influence and impact on organisational growth. By presenting a clear vision and articulating the value of learning at the executive level, the Learning function becomes a key influence in critical business decisions. This prevents underinvestment and stagnation of the learning agenda.
Effective leadership of the Learning function ensures that learning initiatives are aligned with business strategy, future-proofed, and capable of delivering sustained organisational value.
This four-day programme, designed and delivered by HPC is based on the latest research on the key challenges facing learning leaders as they navigate an increasingly complex environment dominated by AI and demands to deliver increasing value. These questions include:
- How do I create a learning strategy that is fit for purpose?
- How do I gain support for my agenda?
- What are the most appropriate development strategies to drive performance?
- How can technology, and specifically AI, enhance our offering?
- How do I evaluate and demonstrate success to the business?
- How do I promote myself and my function across the business?
Who is this programme for?
This programme is designed for those who lead the learning function or who aspire to lead the function in the future. It is particularly appropriate for those who are seeking to reposition how their learning function is perceived by the business.
Programme Essentials
The programme is delivered virtually over 4 days with an emphasis on peer- to peer learning supported by expert guest speakers each day. In addition , your learning will be supported by a digital learning platform that includes tools to apply your learning , curated resources and social learning.

Programme Facilitator
Your programme facilitator is Jonathan Logue. Jonathan is a HR/ OD Consultant, facilitator, instructional designer, speaker and executive coach. He is also a Fellow of the Learning & Development Institute (FLDI), a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute (FLPI), a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD) and a member of the EMCC.
He has worked for several global professional services firms and smaller 'boutique' consultancies specialising in Human Capital Consulting, Leadership and Management Development and coaching.
Jonathan was Head of Learning & Development at O2 prior to starting his own consultancy in 2007. In September 2014, he joined LinkedIn's Learning & Development team as a Senior Learning & Development Consultant, working on global projects and programmes around Performance Management, Management and Leadership Development and coaching. He was Senior Director, Talent Development, based in Dublin, until February 2024.

Cancelation Fees:
Notice of less than 10 working days: 100% of course fee.
Notice of 10 – 60 working days: 50% of course fee.
